Spring concert at the Paramount, May 6, 2024

St. Cloud Municipal Band invited area high school band directors to nominate their top students to join us for a concert. These students, called Band Ambassadors, played with the band at its Paramount Theater concert. The students rehearsed with the band before performing on May 6. The band plans to continue the Ambassadors program that aims to emphasize that music is a life-long experience that doesn’t need to end with high school graduation.

With formal rehearsals and performances suspended because of Covid-19 restrictions, band members gathered in Wilson Park to play while limiting the number of musicians to 25 spaced 10 feet apart.
